Dear runner.


Welcome to the 12+1 edition of the UTGS, this email is a summary of the most important aspects you need to keep in mind. Please, read this
information on these indications.


IMPORTANT: Due to the uncertain weather forecast from the organization we have decided to activate the alternative route. ALTERNATIVE ROUTE route that avoids the areas of the Mascún ravine and Balced, as well as the section of the castle of Los Santos.

These changes only affect the route of the ULTRA, the routes of the Vuelta a Sevil, Trail Río Vero and Trail Alquézar Rosado remain unchanged.

In addition, a second life bag has been set up in Las Bellostas.

Access to Alquézar: Access to Alquézar through the center will be closed on Friday at noon (at the traffic circle), only residents and those staying in establishments that have their own parking will be able to access, the rest of the vehicles will be diverted to the parking lot above. You can consult the Alquézar street map to see the parking areas.

On Saturday, the access through the center will be closed to traffic and it will be mandatory to enter through the parking area.

BEFORE THE RACE:

Pick up of race bibs:

Check the program for the bib pick-up schedule and pick-up zones.

To pick up your race bib, you must identify yourself with your ID and you will be given an identification bracelet.

You can pick up the bib of another person, with the authorization that you can download here (it is mandatory that this model) and with a photocopy of the ID of the runner and another of the person who picks up the bib.

The bibs for the Ultra, Vuelta a Sevil and Trail del Vero must be picked up on Friday.

Ultra runners will be given two standard plastic bags to introduce the material to be taken to Rodellar and Las Bellostas. This year, due to the weather conditions, two life bags are being established

The bibs of the Trail Alquézar Rosado that have not been collected on Friday, will be delivered in the finish area from 7:30 to 9:00, not the runner’s bag that is enabled a later time to collect it (see program).

Delivery of the Bag of Life of Rodellar and Las Bellostas (Ultra only):

The runners of the Ultra will be able to deliver the bag of life of Rodellar and Las Bellostas from one hour before the start in the starting area. You will have to leave each of them in the corresponding van.

DURING THE RACE:

Please refer to the race regulations . Remember that by registering you have agreed to comply with its contents.

Access to the exit corral:

An identity check will be carried out randomly to verify that the bibs have not been given away.

Exit control will open one hour before departure time, please enter with enough time.

Mandatory Material:

Compulsory equipment checks will be carried out at different points along the course or at the finish line.

The mandatory material required is as follows.

Ultra Trail:

  • DNI
  • Backpack or equivalent
  • Jacket with hood to withstand bad weather in the mountains and made with waterproof membrane.
  • Long-sleeved warm clothing (thermal T-shirt or similar), no sleeve combinations
  • Long leggings
  • Gloves
  • Headlamp and spare batteries
  • Survival blanket
  • Sun hat or Buff
  • Food that everyone considers necessary
  • Hydration system (min. 1L)
  • Cup (there will be no cups at the refreshment posts)
  • Cell phone

Return to Sevil:

  • DNI
  • Backpack or equivalent
  • Jacket with hood to withstand bad weather in the mountains and made with waterproof membrane.
  • Long-sleeved warm clothing (thermal T-shirt or similar), no sleeve combinations
  • Survival blanket
  • Sun hat or Buff
  • Food that everyone considers necessary
  • Cup (there will be no cups at the refreshment posts)

Rio Vero Trail:

  • Windbreaker jacket or raincoat
  • Survival blanket
  • Sun hat / Buff
  • Cup (there will be no cups at the refreshment posts)
  • Hydration system (min. 1L)
  • Cell phone

Trail Alquézar Rosado:

  • DNI
  • Backpack or equivalent
  • Windbreaker jacket or raincoat
  • Survival blanket
  • Sun hat / Buff
  • Hydration system (min. 0.5 L)
  • Mobile phone.

(**) the final list of equipment may be modified up to 24 hours before the race depending on the weather forecast. Please have the foresight to pick up more material just in case.

External Assistance:

Outside assistance is permitted at the following points:

Ultra Trail: Colungo, Alquézar, Radiquero, Las Almunias, Rodellar and Las Bellostas.

Tour of Sevil: Colungo, Alquézar and Radiquero

Rio Vero Trail: Colungo and Alquézar

Trail Alquézar Rosado: Colungo

Cutting schedules:

The cut schedules determined in the different distances will be complied with exactly. Please make sure of the cut-off times at your distance. You can find them in the road book in the cards of each distance.

Refueling:

Within each distance you can see in detail the content of the refreshment posts at the different checkpoints.

To recover the life forests of Rodellar and Las Bellostas:

It will be possible to recover the bag of life of Rodellar and Bellostas in the finishing area of Alquézar, in a tent set up for this purpose. Approximately from 5:00 p.m. until the arrival of the last runner.

To pick up the bag, the runner’s race bib must be shown.

Waste:

Environmental conservation is one of our main concerns. For this reason, we
all gels, bars and other items must be marked with the bib number.
that may be subject to waste, random checks of material shall be carried out to ensure that it is properly marked. Likewise, during the cleaning and unmarking, the residues found will be checked and measures may be taken afterwards.

Showers:

Showers are provided in the changing rooms of the sports area.

Saturday from 12 noon onwards. And on Sunday from 11:00 a.m. onwards
